Carlos Tevez has found himself out of favour with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini and Italian giants AC Milan remain favourites to sign the Argentina star.
Milan will look to secure Tevez on a loan deal from Man City, but the Manchester Club are unlikely to let Tevez go without a transfer fee.

One player who looks likely to move in the window is Italian hitman Marco Borriello, who has been warming Roma’s sub bench,or sitting in the stands this year. Marseille have agreed a loan deal worth €1m, to be followed by a €7.5m fee to make the switch permanent in the summer. But Italian rivals Juventus may make a last minute attempt to hi-jack the deal.
Napoli have already agreed a fee of €12m for Chilean starlet duardo Vargas with the striker set to make his move permanent on the first few days of the transfer window.
Vargas has said “I will complete the transfer to Napoli in the first days of January. I am happy to come to Italy, as they play a spectacular style of football there.”
Napoli fought off competition from Internazionale and Chelsea to secure the Chilean’s signature.
Loan deals are all the rage this time of year, and Juventus look to snap up defender Martin Caceres from Sevilla, a €3m loan fee rising to to be €10m to make the deal permanent in the summer.
Genoa are set to announce the loan signings of Juve striker Amauri and Benfica midfielder Ruben Amorim.
Filippo Inzhagi is set to leave the black and red stripes of AC Milan behind with the 38-year-old surplus to requirements at the San Siro. Serie A rivals Novara are said to be interested in the striker.
