Former Newcastle and Sunderland goalkeeper Shay Given has admitted he is willing to drop down to the
Championship to find first-team football, according to the Daily Mail.
Given has been linked with Leicester City after finding himself behind Joe Hart in Man City’s pecking order this season.
The Irish international, 34, said: “I just want to play. I do not want to go for an entire season without playing and I am prepared to go to a Championship club and be on a 24-hour call-back.”
