Sunderland Women sealed the Premier League title for a second successive year with a 2-1 win at Cardiff today.

Nicola Devine opened the scoring for Sunderland only for the home side, fighting against relegation, to equalise.

Beth Mead put Sunderland back in front after 52 minutes and the Lady Black Cats saw the game out to jump above Leeds United in the table by a single point.
