JORDAN Henderson insists he remains focussed on England Under-21s’ European Championships campaign and has not been sidetracked by his move from Sunderland to Liverpool.
The midfielder signed a £20million deal at Anfield before heading to Denmark with his country, where he helped England open their finals campaign with a 1-1 draw against favourites Spain.
The Wearsider has had little time to think about life at Liverpool and admitted: “It has been a bit hectic but brilliant as well.
“It has been a really good week for me and hopefully it will get better.
“This is a massive time in my career and an opportunity to go an improve as a player - it was an opportunity I could not really turn down.”
