SUNDERLAND have again been linked with a loan move for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah.
Egyptian international Salah was one player mooted as a possible alternative to main target Fabio Borini during the summer and while he is understood to have been an option considered by Sunderland, that interest didn’t develop into anything significant.
But Salah has only started twice for Chelsea this season and Jose Mourinho is keen for the 22-year-old to play regular first-team football out on loan.
Reports today have credited Sunderland, QPR, Everton and Stoke with interest in Salah, who arrived at Stamford Bridge in an £11million move from Swiss side Basel last January.
Sunderland still have one domestic loan available in the upcoming transfer window after Liverpool centre-half Sebastian Coates was the only Premier League loanee to arrive at the Stadium of Light during the summer.
