Sunderland have been linked with a move for QPR midfielder Sandro, as Sam Allardyce looks for solutions in the January transfer window.
Brazilian Sandro has resumed playing for Championship outfit QPR after resolving a visa issue and started in yesterday’s 2-1 defeat at Birmingham.
But reports today have indicated that the ex-Spurs man is among Allardyce’s targets for the January transfer window.
QPR pair James Collins and Joey O’Brien - who played under Allardyce at Bolton - are also mooted to be on Sunderland’s radar, with the Black Cats evidently needing reinforcements to their fragile defence.
And Sunderland continue to be linked with out-of-contract striker Carlton Cole, with one space remaining in Allardyce’s squad for a Bosman signing.
