FORMER Sunderland striker Nicklas Bendtner could leave Arsenal to be reunited with Steve Bruce at Hull City.
Bendtner’s £3million move to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt fell through last week, but the Dane remains eager to secure a permanent exit from Arsenal after season-long loan switches at Sunderland and then Juventus.
Premier League new boys Hull are in the market for a new frontman after seeing Charlie Austin’s proposed £5m switch from Burnley collapse following a failed medical.
Reports have linked Hull boss Bruce with an interest in Bendtner after the pair have worked together on two previous occasions.
Bendtner enjoyed a successful loan spell under Bruce at Birmingham in the Championship, while the 25-year-old was signed by the then Sunderland manager in August 2011.
