Swansea City-Sunderland: Defoe the dangerman says Bob Bradley

Boss Bob Bradley knows just where the danger lies for his Swansea City side today - Jermain Defoe.

Sunderland's top scorer bagged a hat-trick on his last visit to the Liberty Stadium where the Black Cats won 4-2 at the start of the year.

And while Bradley was not in charge of the Swans back then, he does have something of an inside line on Defoe, who joined Toronto from Tottenham on the same day as Bob's son Michael back in 2013.

"Everyone knows Jermain has made a career out of a savviness in the way he moves and lethal finishing," said the former USA boss.

"He still finds those little cracks and chinks and, if allowed, scores goals.

"We must recognise where he is and close him down, because he is a striker who lives off the tiniest spaces."

Bradley's side start this afternoon's fixture bottom of the pile and two points behind their visitors.

David Moyes's side have won three of their last four games and Bradley, writing in his match programme, wants Swansea to 'do a Sunderland'.

"Sunderland have shown that even when you have been through a tough stretch, you can put a good run of form together, winning three of their last four, " he said in Jack Magazine.

"That is the sort of sequence we need to produce as we look to pull ourselves out of the bottom three."
