SUNDERLAND striker Mikael Mandron has been called up for Billy Stark’s Scotland Under-20 squad.

The French-born player made his first-team debut last month. He will join a 20-man squad for the ADO Den Haag Youth Tournament in Holland, subject to FIFA clearance, as Scotland take on group opponents Cruzeiro, FK Senica and Club Brugge on May 31 – June 3.

The 6ft 3in forward also qualifies to play for England.

He will be joined by former England youth international Luke Hendrie. The Leeds-born Manchester United midfielder, whose father is former Middlesbrough winger John Hendrie, has represented England at under-16 and under-17 level.

The squad also includes Hibernian pair Daniel Handling and Alex Harris as well as Kilmarnock right-back Ross Barbour.
