TWO more 40,000 plus crowds are expected for Sunderland’s final two home games of the season - against West Brom next Wednesday and Swansea next Sunday.

And fans are being asked to book early with demand expected to be heavy

The West Brom game has a 7.45pm kick-off and season-card holders can take advantage of a ‘friends and family’ offer by buying up to two extra ickets at a reduced price of £10 each.

Standard tickets are priced at £25 for adults, £19 for over 65s and £10 for under 16s for both home games.

Head coach Gus Poyet called on Sunderland fans before the Cardiff game to fill out the Stadium of Light, which they duly did and he is hoping for more of the same next week.

Speaking of the importance of their backing, he said: “Thank you to everyone.

“The first 20 minutes of the game was absolutely incredible with the connection between the fans and the players.

“And now we need the same again until the end of the season, the same connection, the same noise, the same full house.”

The Black Cats’ season final game at the Stadium of Light on Sunday has a 3pm kick-off.

The Stadium of Light ticket office will be open for sales on Bank Holiday Monday, Monday from 10am until 1pm. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.safc.com/tickets or by telephone, 0871 911 1973, 24 hours a day.
