WES BROWN will serve a two-game ban after the Sunderland centre-half was sent off against Hull City on Saturday.
Brown earned the third fastest red card in Premier League history after he was dismissed in the fourth minute against the Tigers.
The 34-year-old will earn a one-match ban for a professional foul and an extra game after he was sent off earlier in the season against Norwich.
Brown’s dismissal at Stoke will not count towards his suspension after it was rescinded.
The ban will rule Brown out of Wednesday’s trip to Manchester City along with Saturday’s visit of Southampton in the FA Cup fifth round.
