Sunderland misfit El-Hadji Ba has completed a move to Charlton Athletic.
Ba moves to The Valley on a three-year deal.
The 22-year-old began his career in his native France with Le Havre AC, before Sunderland signed the central midfielder in July, 2013.
Ba scored on his debut in a 3-1 FA Cup victory over Carlisle United, but made just three appearances in his first season, before joining Ligue 1 side Bastia on loan for the 2014/15 season.
He made a decent start but a broken leg kept him out for the remainder of the season.
Now back to fitness, the former France U20 international Ba has become Guy Luzon’s second signing of the summer.
“It’s very nice to be a Charlton player,” said Ba. “I’m very happy to be here.
“It was a little bit difficult at Sunderland. I was young and didn’t have a lot of time on the pitch, but now I am older and ready to fight at Charlton.”
