SUNDERLAND Women play for a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals tomorrow.
The Lady Black Cats are away to Somerset side Keynsham Town in the fifth round.
A long away trip won’t daunt Sunderland, though, after their impressive 7-0 victory over Cardiff in the previous round.
Keynsham are eighth in the Southern Premier League, a division below Premier League leaders Sunderland, but Black Cats boss Mick Mulhern is guarding against complacency,
“The reports I have had suggest that this will be a very tough game,” he said.
“Keynsham have found good form since Christmas and are unbeaten at home. But we are also playing well, so this should be an interesting game.
“We respect everyone, but fear no one.”
Right-back Abby Holmes and reserve goalkeeper Helen Alderson are both ruled out injured, but Mulhern has two players back in the fold after international duties.
Midfielder Rachel Furness has been away with Northern Ireland in the Cyprus Cup, while England U19 forward Keira Ramshaw has been away at the La Manga tournament.
FA WOMEN’S CUP (fifth round): Barnet v Doncaster Rovers Belles, Birmingham City v Liverpool, Bristol Academy v Leeds United, Charlton Athletic v Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea v Brighton & Hove Albion, Keynsham Town v Sunderland, Lincoln v Arsenal, Manchester City v Everton.
