SUNDERLAND have announced a contingency plan for tickets if Saturday’s FA Cup fifth round clash with Arsenal ends in a draw.
The potential replay with the Gunners will take place next Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm), just three days after the original tie, due to international fixtures and Arsenal’s Champions League commitments.
Tickets for the Emirates encounter, priced at £35 for adults, £15 for over-65s and £14 for under-16s, would be available from the Stadium of Light ticket office from 10am until 3pm on Sunday and 9am until 7pm on Monday.
Supporters can buy tickets in person or by telephone on 0191 5515004, although any bought by phone must be collected at the Emirates prior to kick-off.
The match would be all-ticket and there will be no sales after 7pm on Monday.
Sunderland sales operations manager Phil Clarkson said: “Should Saturday’s game end in a draw, we are facing a very short time in which to be able to implement ticket sales for the replay, therefore plans have had to be put in place in advance.
“We have made every effort to ensure our fans can get tickets, despite there being no sales at Arsenal on the day.”
