Sunderland have been linked with a January move for Barcelona right-back Aleix Vidal.
Reports in the Spanish press say the Black Cats are weighing up a move alongside AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli and Granada.
The 27-year-old has been at the Spanish giants for more than a year after a £13million move from Seville in the summer of 2015 but has fallen out of favour and is reported to be available for a transfer.
Sunderland signed Javier Manquillo in the summer on loan from Atletico Madrid, while versatile Jason Denayer and Billy Jones are the other right-backs on the books.
It is unlikely to be a priority position for Moyes, with a striker top of the wanted list to help relieve some of the pressure from Jermain Defoe.

Meanwhile, Jermain Defoe thrives on the pressure of being the main man at Sunderland.
But strike partner Victor Anichebe says his team-mates need to help relieve some of the burden from the shoulders of Defoe, who has "carried" the team in recent seasons.
Anichebe told the Echo: "Jermain is really good, you can see that in training every day – his finishing is a joke!
"His movement is great and he helps me too.
"When we play together in training, he knows where to find me and I know when to give it back to him and stuff like that.
"Watching him, everyone knows he is a really good player and he has carried Sunderland for a long time.
"It is up to the team, it is up to everybody to help him, not just me.
"We need to start keeping more clean sheets, that is the foundation and getting goals from set pieces, all these sorts of things that other Premier League teams do.
