Sunderland fans are recovering from last night’s drama, as the fall-out from the draw with Crystal Palace rumbles on.
The 2-2 draw thanks to Fabio Borini’s last-gasp leveller earned Sam Allardyce’s side a precious point.
However, it came as a cost, with experienced duo Lee Cattermole and John O’Shea likely to miss Saturday’s game against Southampton.

Elsewhere, Borini revealed his delight at his goal, but also his frustration at not getting too many opportunities of late.
The Italian ace opened up to the Echo after the game.
On the transfer front, Spanish newspaper AS Diario reports that Liverpool have joined Sunderland in the race to sign highly-rated Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan.
Adnan is under contract at Betis until June 2019, but is understood to have a £6million release clause.
Allardyce said to be keeping tabs on the keeper, with Liverpool looking for a possible replacement for ex-Sunderland stopper Simon Mignolet.
Mignolet’s position has come under threat after a series of erratic displays.
