Sam Allardyce is already putting plans in place for summer recruitment, despite Sunderland not knowing what division they’ll be playing in, and the highly-rated Vilhena is on his radar.

It comes as Allardyce revealed his signings in January contributed to what was one of his best-ever transfer windows.

Elsewhere, Sunderland’s new home strip has been revealed.
