SUNDERLAND boss Steve Bruce hopes March will see a big boost to his squad with the return of a number of injured players.

Michael Turner and Fraizer Campbell have both returned to light training following their respective knee injurues.

After meeting Spurs at the Stadium of Light tomorrow, the Wearsiders have a two-week break due to their elimination from the FA Cup.

Bruce said: “It’s a big week next week for Fraizer and Michael and then we hope by the end of the two-week break after playing Spurs we will see Welbeck, Cattermole, Meyler.

“If those four, five, six players come back into the squad in the next two or three weeks, that can only help our cause.”
