SIX of Sunderland’s Barclays Premier League games have been switched.
The changes mean the Black Cats have no Saturday match in all of December.
And the comfort of not having to shake-off a hangover on New Year’s Day has also been snatched away.
Sunderland’s trip to Wolves has been moved from December 3 to December 4 (4pm) to be screened by Sky Sports.
Sky have also picked Sunderland’s home game with Blackburn for live coverage, moving the date from December 10 to December 11 (1.30pm).
Steve Bruce’s side were due to visit Tottenham Hotspur on December 17 but this has been moved from the Saturday to the Sunday - December 18 (3pm) - due to the Londoners’ involvement in the Europa League.
That changed has forced Sunderland’s quick return to London to face QPR to be moved back 24 hours to 8pm on December 21.
Sky Sports have selected Sunderland’s home game against Manchester City to be screened live. The game therefore moves from December 31 to New Year’s Day (3pm). As a result, the Wearsiders’ away game at Wigan has been moved 24 hours to Tuesday, January 3 (7.45pm).
