IN A game of very few chances, James McClean again caught the eye with a very good goal at Stoke.

He is really thriving on being a first-team regular and this kid could find himself playing for Ireland in the European Championships this summer.

I am sure he has come to the attention of Giovanni Trapattoni and even though he is still raw and has a lot to learn, he can’t do much more than he is right now.

It’s great when you have Seb Larsson on one flank and McClean on the other because they can produce some great service from wide areas.
