Revealed! The Premier League striker Sunderland fans want to sign

Southampton striker Graziano Pelle has come top of an Echo poll which asked which Premier League player Sunderland should make a move for.

Sunderland have been linked with a host of players already this transfer window - and we wanted to hear who you think they should sign.

Echo columnist David Jones highlighted eight players he thinks Sunderland should make a move for this summer in his exclusive column.

They are: Kieran Trippier (Tottenham), Carl Jenkinson (Arsenal), Fabian Delph (Manchester City), Idrissa Gueye (Aston Villa), James Morrison (West Brom), Victor Moses (Chelsea), Jason Puncheon (Crystal Palace) and Graziano Pelle (Southampton).

We asked fans to have their say and Pelle topped the vote with 28 per cent of readers choosing him.

Trippier was second with 20 per cent of the public vote, while Carl Jenkinson and Fabian Delph also came high on supporters' wishlist of summer signings.
