Sunderland AFC have been one of the busiest clubs this month, with several outgoings and incomings at the Stadium of Light.
A total of 53 players have been linked with a move to the North East this month.
And we can reveal the full list here!
Sergi Gomez; Spanish central defender, 23, who plays for Celta Vigo.
Kevin Nolan; Free agent since leaving West Ham United, strongly linked with move to Sunderland but eventually joined Leyton Orient as player-manager.
Carlton Cole; The 32-year-old was a free agent but signed for Celtic. Strongly linked given he worked under Sam Allardyce at West Ham United.
Morgan Amalfitano; The 30-year-old is a free agent and Sunderland were linked with a move but midfield not a priority for Allardyce this month.
James Tomkins; West Ham. Defender, 26, but Allardyce moved for Lamine Kone and Jan Kirchhoff instead.
Ouzhan Ozyakup; Besiktas. Turkish midfielder, 23, was linked with a move to the North East.
Charlie Austin; QPR. Was linked with most Premier League clubs but Southampton swooped in and signed the striker for £4million.
Dame N’Doye; Trabzonspor. Done Deal. Sunderland signed the striker on a four-month loan deal until the end of the season.
Emanuel Adebayor; Free agent ever since his contract was cancelled at Spurs by mutual consent. Alan Pardew has signed him for Crystal Palace though.
Leo Lacroix; FC Sion. 23-year-old Swiss footballer, a defender and Sunderland made it clear they needed defenders this month.
Nedum Onuoha; QPR. Another defender linked with Sunderland. The 29-year-old is comfortable playing at right and left back too.
Andros Townsend; Spurs. The winger was attracting interest from both Newcastle United and Sunderland but the Magpies signed him for £12million.
James Collins; West Ham. Another West Ham United defender linked with Sunderland and there was genuine interest until he signed a new contract with the Hammers.
Joey O’Brien; West Ham. The Allardyce link meant several Hammers players were linked with a move to the North East. O'Brien, 29, among them.
Arthur Masuaku; Olympiakos. Left-back rated at £7million. The improvement of Patrick van Aanholt always meant this was a long shot. One to watch out for though.
Tom Lees; Sheffield Wednesday. Another defender, the 25-year-old is a centre-back but can also play right-back.
Andy Carroll; West Ham. Always appeared unlikely despite Allardyce's West Ham connection. Would have taken a huge offer and West Ham quickly confirmed he wasn't for sale.
Raphael Guerreiro; Lorient. One of several Lorient players linked, he can play left back and also left midfield.
Benjamin Moukandjo; Lorient. Cameroon forward. Sunderland wanted a striker but not Moukandjo.
Obafemi Martins (loan); Seattle Sounders. A move for the former Newcastle United striker never materialised.
Sam Byram; Leeds United. The highly-rated Leeds right-back was linked with a Sunderland move all last summer. He eventually signed for West Ham United.
Daniel Cheema; Barnet. He scored 20 times for Barnet Under-16s last season.
Sebastien Haller, Utrecht: Sunderland are still tracking the £7million-rated striker. One to keep an eye on.
Kevin Volland; Hoffenheim: Striker/winger aged 23 and Sunderland were said to be tracking him.
Lamine Kone; Lorient. Done Deal. Eventually. It was one and then off again twice but the Black Cats eventually got their man on a permanent deal.
Georg Niedermeier; Stuttgart. Defender, aged 29. One of dozens of defenders linked with Sunderland!
Joel Matip; Schalke. Also attracted interest from Liverpool, Sunderland looked elsewhere for defensive cover.
Jan Kirchhoff; Bayern Munich. Done Deal. Sunderland signed the centre-back on an 18-month deal.
Steven Caulker; QPR: Defender was linked with Sunderland loan move but Liverpool came in for him until the end of the season.
Michy Batshuayi; Marseille. Belgian footballer, 22, who plays as a forward.
Giuseppe Rossi; Fiorentina. The well-travelled Italian striker has previously played for Manchester United, Newcastle United and Parma.
Lovre Kalinic; Hajduk Split. Croatian goalkeeper, 25. Aston Villa keen on him too.
Marc Wilson; Stoke. Versatile Irishman can play in midfield or defence.
Sandro; QPR. This was always a non-starter for Sunderland, with Sam Allardyce quickly brushing off speculation that he was on his way to the Stadium of light.
Ciro Immobile; Sevilla. Great name for a striker! But this was always a wild card. Sunderland are in the market for a striker but Allardyce is unlikely to gamble on deadline day.
Damien Da Silva; Caen. 27-year-old French defender was briefly reported to be on the Black Cats' radar.
Bafetimbi Gomis; Swansea: Newcastle United have also been strongly linked with a move for Gomis who looks destined to leave the Liberty Stadium.
Darron Gibson; Everton. This move was always unlikely, with central midfield not a priority for Sam Allardyce given the form of Lee Cattermole and Yann M'Vila. Almost signed for SAFC in 2011.
Tonny Vilhena; Feyenoord. Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder, aged 21.
Patrick Roberts; Man City. Manchester City winger, previously played for Fulham, aged 18.
Cristian Zapata, AC Milan. Colombian defender, usually as a centre-back. Aged 29.
Steven Naismith; Everton. Signed for Norwich City for £8million, would have been a good addition to the Sunderland squad.
Alaixys Romao; Marseille. Togolese midfielder. Aged 32 and a wanted man with clubs across Europe tracking him.
Islam Slimani; Sporting Lisbon. Algerian striker, 27, who plays in Portugal and for his national team.
Andre Ayew; Swansea. Swans top scorer and heavily linked with a move to Sunderland. Bid rejected though and Allardyce moved on to other targets.
Seydou Doumbia; Roma. International striker the subject of a lot of interest from clubs across Europe.
Rey Manaj; Inter Milan. Manaj is an 18-year-old striker currently playing in the Italian top flight.
Giannelli Imbula; FC Porto. Defensive midfielder, aged 23 but boosting that area of the pitch wasn't a priority for Sam Allardyce.
Oumar Niasse; Lokomotiv Moscow. Senegal winger/striker, aged 25. Known for his pace.
Mathieu Debuchy; Arsenal. The former Newcastle United right-back is available and Sunderland are interested in him.
Peter Odemwingie; Stoke. Bit of a wild card but reports he was joining the Black Cats were quickly dismissed.
Sol Bamba; Leeds. Leeds quickly quashed reports that he was heading to the Stadium of Light. Defender and Leeds captain.
Wahbi Khazri; Bordeaux. Done Deal. The Tunisian international has joined the Black Cats on a permanent deal. Highly-rated, plays in the No 10 role or out wide.
