Younes Kaboul says Sunderland can start building momentum with a win over his former employers this weekend.

Dick Advocaat’s Black Cats host Tottenham Hotspur at the Stadium of Light in the Sunday lunchtime kick-off.

And Kaboul insists there is nothing to fear from the reunion with his former club.

“Like any game, it’s no different for me,” said Kaboul.

“I would play that game to win it.

“We got some stick after our first two games but we reacted quite well, so now we need to win a game to really start building momentum,” added Kaboul to the club website.

The 29-year-old centre back signed from Spurs in the summer and joined seven other new faces through the doors at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland are winless this season in the Premier League, with Kaboul targeting the first three points of the campaign this weekend.
