ALFRED N’Diaye’s move to Sunderland has moved a step closer after the French midfielder arrived on Wearside for talks.
N’Diaye set foot at the Academy of Light this afternoon after Sunderland agreed a fee of around £3.8million with Turkish club Bursaspor earlier this week.
The 22-year-old must now agree personal terms and pass a medical to complete his move to Sunderland.
And then Sunderland must gain international clearance in time if N’Diaye is to make his debut in Saturday’s visit of West Ham.
But the French U21 international is on the verge of becoming Sunderland’s first signing of the January transfer window, with the Black Cats also in the hunt for Swansea striker Danny Graham.
