FORMER Sunderland player Michael Gray has suggested Sunderland players may be more at fault than managers for the Black Cats poor performance.

Gray, who made 363 league appearances for Sunderland between 1992 and 2004, made the statement on social networking site Twitter after the sacking of Black Cats boss O’Neill.

He said: “So where do we go from here Sunderland? Do we just keep sacking managers or do we start pointing the finger at the players..!!!”

Echo readers have also been having there say online, with mixed reactions over the departure of O’Neill.
