ALTHOUGH the odds are still against Billy Hughes (right) being able to hold his place in the Sunderland side aiming to hit back to winning form against Luton Town at Roker Park tomorrow afternoon, Manager Alan Brown will not be making a final decision until shortly before the game.
Jimmy Hamilton, scorer of a super goal for the Reserves against Bradford City Reserves on Wednesday night, stands by to fill the vacancy. And if he has to go in, then Joe Bolton, fit again and itching to regain his place in the senior side, will fill the substitute spot.
As expected, Luton will be relying upon the team which dropped a home point against Blackpool last week.
Sunderland: Montgomery, Malone and Coleman, Horswill, Ashurst and Porterfield, Hughes (or Hamilton), Kerr, Watson, Lathan and Tueart. Substitute, Hamilton (or Bolton).
Luton Town: Barber, John Ryan and Thomson, Anderson, Faulkner and Slough. Jim Ryan, Fern, Busby, Halom and Aston. Substitute, Hindson or Garner.
