Former Sunderland defender Louis Laing has penned a two-year deal at Scottish Premiership club Motherwell.
Ex-England youth international Laing, 22, made 13 appearances on loan from Nottingham Forest last season, helping thrash Rangers 6-1 on aggregate in the Premiership play-off final, with the 6ft 2 in centre-back telling motherwellfc.co.uk: “I’m delighted and after such an enjoyable last six months of last season, I couldn’t be happier. I’ve got a bit of security for the next two years at a fantastic club with fantastic fans and a fantastic manager.
“I didn’t have a great start last season, getting sent off in the first game, but after that I hit the ground running and it was a really enjoyable experience. I’m delighted to be back.”
Motherwell have also signed Wrexham striker Louis Moult, who hit 23 goals last season.
