FORMER Sunderland midfielder Liam Miller has switched clubs in Australia to extend his two-year stay Down Under.

The ex-Manchester United and Celtic man has spent the past two seasons with Perth Glory, but has now decided to join A-League rivals Brisbane Roar on a two-year deal.

“I’m very happy to be joining a club with such a strong football culture both on and off the pitch,” Miller said.

“My family were a huge part in my decision to sign for Brisbane and the close-knit nature of the playing group and the whole club made that decision easier for me.”
