THERE have been some wild rumours circulating around the club this week – one that Steve Bruce will be playing two strikers this week!
Both on the pitch at the same time, and in their correct positions? It must be a mistake, but let’s hope not!
This could be our strongest side this season with Bendtner straight back into the side; Ji or Wickham alongside and Bardsley in at left-back (thank the Lord).
Drop Elmo and give Larsson a chance in his correct position. Job’s a good’un.
Bolton are a decent, hard working side with a good few footballers in their ranks. Owen Coyle, a very good manager, has got them playing some decent stuff, especially in comparison to the Allardyce days at the Reebok.
They’ve had a poor start to the season playing a lot of the top sides (and they’ve still won more games than us) but now they’re over that run they’ll kick on to mid-table safety.
Will a draw be enough to satisfy the ever-growing clamour for a managerial change?
Possibly not, but I’ll be going for an away win anyway.
Prediction: Bolton 1 Sunderland 3
