Echo Jury: Michael Glancy looks ahead to tonight’s game at Carrow Road

AFTER thrashing Stoke last weekend, we now play Norwich in a “should-win” game.

This is the chance for a mini-revival under Bruce, which would hopefully set the tone for the rest of the season. We should be looking to win this match and win it well.

Although Norwich are still buoyant from promotion, their first 11 is poor, with very few Premier League players.

They are similar to Blackpool here, but that is where the comparison stops. Their style of football is very physical and they like to get balls into the box for the big men up front.

If we get the ball down and if the likes of Vaughan, Sessegnon and Larsson are influential in our play, then I would fully expect us to come away with the three points.

Although I asked to start with Bendtner and Ji last week, I think we should stick with the same team which mauled Stoke. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Norwich will pick up points at home this season against the likes of Stoke, Wolves and Bolton. For this reason, even if we concede an early goal, we should not revert to hoof-ball tactics.

Prediction: Norwich 1 Sunderland 3
