I WAS happy to get a draw after our poorest performance since O’Neill took over. We were second-best to most second balls and there seemed to be more desire to win them from Boro.
Boro’s goal was a great finish, but it was a very stoppable goal as it came from O’Shea losing possession (again).
Mignolet had no chance with Robson’s effort, though.
Fraizer Campbell came on at half-time for the very disappointing Connor Wickham and it gave us a bit of a lift, as we improved when he came on.
Our goal came from a Boro corner, then as Robson tried to play it back to his team-mate, McClean intercepted it. He bided his team and played in Campbell, who finished very confidently.
It was great to see him back and a couple of things we learnt from today are that Cattermole and Bendtner are very important players for us. Man of the match was Bardsley.
Bring on Norwich!
