CARDIFF defender Juan Cala has been charged with improper conduct for an alleged incident after he was sent off in Sunday’s defeat to Sunderland.
Cala was handed a straight red card by referee Phil Dowd for tugging back Connor Wickham when the Sunderland striker was through on goal on the stroke of half-time.
But the Spaniard could receive a second punishment after being charged by the FA for an incident in the tunnel at the end of the game.
An FA statement today said: “The charge is in relation to an alleged incident in or around the tunnel area after the end of the fixture, which amounts to improper conduct.”
Cala has until 6pm on Thursday to respond to the charge.
