SUNDERLAND were today running the rule over their walking wounded after Phil Bardsley, Danny Welbeck and Asamoah Gyan were all added to the injury list on Saturday, writes GRAEME ANDERSON.

None of the trio finished the 4-2 weekend win against Wigan, with Bardsley (concussion) and Gyan (hamstring) stretchered off, while Welbeck (hamstring) limped out of action midway through the first half.

The three were added to a list of woes which includes Craig Gordon (out for up to six months) and Fraizer Campbell (out for over a year), as well as David Meyler (ligaments), John Mensah (hamstring) Titus Bramble (knee) and Kieran Richardson (calf).

But Bardsley at least has some chance of being involved at home to Fulham this Saturday, despite a clash of heads with team-mate Nedum Onuoha which ended his game just 10 minutes after kick-off.
