Sunderland Sunday League: Antliff and Page off the bench to inspire Farra Paragon cup success

Jack Barnes scored twice for Nookside, with Dan Wright replying. Rhys Antliff and Luke Page then got on to run the show, both firing hat-tricks to guide Paragon home 7-2.

Willow Pond’s excellent run ended with a 5-1 defeat at Ryhope Foresters as the hosts’ Premier quality told.

Dan Armstrong (3), Spence and Davies did the damage after Dean Gordon put Willow in front .

Port of Call and Washington New Tavern went at it in a 4-4 epic, before the hosts won the shoot-out 4-3.

Gaige Lisle, Lewis Hatcher, Michael Wharton and Sam Wigham all scored for Port of Call, but Trewitt, Neal and, amazingly, two own goals, levelled it up

Park View pulled out a great performance to brush aside Kings Arms 5-1.

Sam Robinson hammered home a treble, while Jordan Southern added a well- taken brace. Shaun Barras replied late on.

The Lansdowne’s star man, James Talbot, fired a hat-trick to dump Farringdon Detached out with a 4-1 win.

Moody replied for Farra, but Mason Burton hit Lansdowne’s clinching fourth.

Redhouse Last Orders edged a thriller at the Shipwrights as they beat Jolly Potters 3-2.

Lax and Gaz Baker struck for Potters, but Last Orders called on Gav Quinn, Gareth Stoker and McNulty to win the game.

The Park’s good form continued with a well-earned 3-0 win at New Town.

Connor Gales, Lewis Fairley and Jordan Ayre netted, while Francesco Peccoco impressed in New Town’s goal.

The Grange were in seventh heaven as they dominated The Victory Club from start to finish in a 7-1 romp.

Man of the match Jordan Muckles bagged a treble, with Mark Muldown, Adam Lane and Peter Lane (2) sinking Victory, with Marc McDonald replying.

Southwick came up trumps against Railway Club in a 5-1 victory.

James Fairley and John Butler both netted twice and the Southwick Neymar, Ash Davis, also scored. Perri Agnew hit the consolation.

Grange Park had a tough time against spritely Wearmouth CW Juniors before edging home 2-1.

Edison Perekosifa scored a beauty to put Wearmouth in front, but Nathan Groom and Shaun Conlon guided Grange Park home.

Ryhope Top House gave a good account of themselves against Premier side Victoria Gardens before going down 5-3.

Paul Brooke gave Gardens’ defence the runaround and scored twice. Cassidy, Golightly, Callum Hope and Luke Taylor steered Victoria 4-2 up.

Callum Johnson got Top House back to 4-3, but Lee Pearce came off the bench to hit a debut clincher.

Premier giants RCA Grangetown Florists ran out out comfortable 10-0 winners against The Dolphin.

John Turvey and Andy Place each hit hat-tricks, while Kev Davison (2), Winlow and Metcalfe also netted. Goalkeeper Darren Brown starred in vain for Dolly.

Herrington CW brushed aside Whitburn Panthers in an easy 6-1 victory.

Ryan Allman notched for Panthers, but Shanks, Morrison, Glendenning, Wilkinson and a double from Adam Guthrie gave the visitors the win.

SR Dons cruised past The Royal Marine with a quality performance in an 8-0 rout.

Davey Hall grabbed four goals and Lewis Herron notched a hat-trick. Chris Laws rounded off the scoring. Marine keeper Dave Smallman impressed throughout.

Thorney Close Inn taught Washington Blue Bell a lesson in finishing in an 11-0 hammering.

Richard McQuillan didn’t help Blue Bell as he saw red before the floodgates opened.

Kyle Gibson and Kurt Jenkins both scored hat-tricks and Davey Jones netted twice, with Robinson, Alexander and Antliff also netting.

Micky Noble stood out for Thorney, Lamb for Bell.
