Seaham Red Star excited by Hartlepool United friendly test
Seaham Red Star are relishing the chance to host a Hartlepool United XI at Seaham Town Park tomorrow night (7.30pm).
Pools were let down when Salford City pulled out of a fixture, but Red Star secretary Dave Copeland was happy for his side to deputise.
He said: “Hartlepool also play Guisborough tomorrow but have informed me that a mixture of first-team regulars and reserves will participate in each game, so we are expecting them to send a strong line-up.
“It’s a great opportunity for Mark Collingwood’s side to test their skills.We are hoping for a good crowd.”
