Keeper Joe Wilson was man of the match for City, who won all three points thanks to a strike from Mathew Arnell.

The ever-reliable Jamie Whitworth was again the top performer for Tunns.

Bishop Auckland Reserves shared the spoils with Blackhill & Ebchester in six-goal thriller.

Reed Molloy, man of the match Liam Bain and Adam Lee-Shield were on target for Bishops, while Stuart McKenna, Danny Castro and Richy Parkin struck for the visitors.

Blackhill’s star man was keeper Anthony Snowball.

Table-toppers Hall Farm Glasshus went down 3-2 in an entertaining tie to Coxhoe Athletic, from the Wearside League, in the quarter-finals of the Durham County Trophy.

Man of the match Adam Elliott and Liam Wooton struck for Hall Farm, who turn their attention to the Durham County Minor Cup this weekend, with a home tie against Stockton Churches Portrack.
