YOHAN Cabaye is out of Newcastle United’s FA Cup tie against Cardiff City - and Tim Krul is “doubtful” with a knock.

Midfielder Cabaye picked up an injury in the club’s New Year’s Day defeat to West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

And goalkeeper Krul is carrying a knock ahead of tomorrow’s third-round tie against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side at St James’s Park.

“I’m a little bit concerned about my goalkeeper,” said Pardew. “He’s doubtful.

“And Yohan Cabaye’s injured. He picked up an injury on Wednesday, I’d have liked to have subbed him, but I didn’t have any left.”

Rob Elliot is on standby to play should Krul fail a late fitness test.
