Newcastle United prospect Ivan Toney is a loan target of Championship side Wolves, according to reports.

Toney, a summer signing from League Two Northampton Town, has scored in each of his last four appearances for Newcastle's Under-21 side.

And Wolves are reported to be keen on taking him to Molineux on loan.

They have already secured the services of Toon defender Mike Williamson on a month-long deal and are keen to add Toney to their squad, report NUFC.com
Wolves manager Kenny Jackett was at Newcastle's U21 game against Derby County earlier this week but could face competition from Burton Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who is also reported to be tracking Toney.

Toney, 19, was named the Premier League’s Under-21 player of the month for September.
