NEWCASTLE boss Alan Pardew has warned his players not to waste last Sunday’s morale-boosting success against Aston Villa when they visit Hull tomorrow.
Hull came from behind to win 3-2 at St James’s Park earlier this season, and Pardew is understandably wary of Steve Bruce’s 11th-placed side.
Newcastle – eighth in the Premier League – are looking to close the gap on Everton and Manchester United above them in the table.
“This is a tough place to go,” said Pardew. “They’ve only conceded 10 goals all year.
“They’ve only been beaten four times at home. This is a tough game for us.
“But we mustn’t think we’ve beaten Villa and everything’s OK.”
In his pre-match Press conference, Pardew said Bruce was a candidate for the Premier League’s manager of the season honour.
