JUVENTUS are tracking Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul – as the club plans for life after Gianluigi Buffon.
A number of clubs have long been monitoring Krul’s progress on Tyneside. And the Holland international is understood to be on the Serie A club’s shortlist of potential successors to Italy legend Buffon.
Krul – who is also interesting AC Milan – is under contract at St James’s Park until 2017.
But that won’t put Juventus off if they feel the 25-year-old is the right man to challenge and eventually succeed 35-year-old Buffon, who has a record 137 Italy caps.
