FORMER Newcastle United youngster JJ Hooper has been linked with clubs in the Championship and League One.
The striker, 21, was released by United in 2013, less than two years after he was brought to the club.
He now plays for Havant and Waterlooville in the Conference South, and is the top goalscorer in the league so far this season, with 11 goals in 14 games in all competitions.
Hooper scored seven goals in 11 games for Farnborough in the same division last season, and this term is averaging a goal every 80 minutes, with all of his strikes from open play.
According to Sky Sports, the former Newcastle starlet is now wanted by a host of clubs in the Championship and League One, meaning his professional dream may not yet be over.
