MATCHWINNER Adam Johnson admits Newcastle United fans will ‘hate’ him after his last-gasp winner in the 151st Tyne-Wear derby.
Johnson struck in the 90th minute from a breakaway to give Sunderland their fourth successive derby win over their bitter rivals.
It was the third goal in three games at St James’s Park for Johnson after he notched in both the 3-0 victories.
He said: “I don’t know what to say.
“Three years in a row – they must hate me here.
“It’s a particular favourite of mine here – great ground, great atmosphere and I seem to rise to the occasion.”
