NEWCASTLE United captain Fabricio Coloccini has been passed fit to face Arsenal tomorrow – but Rolando Aarons’ comeback has been put back.

Manager Alan Pardew had been concerned about Coloccini’s fitness after he returned from injury last weekend against Chelsea.

But the Argentinian centre-back has trained this week without any problems.

Daryl Janmaat, Coloccini’s defensive colleague, has shrugged off a minor problem.

However, winger Aarons – sidelined for a month with a hamstring problem – won’t be involved, while Moussa Sissoko and Steven Taylor are banned.

Asked about injuries, Pardew said: “There’s good news on that front.

“Coloccini – who we had a worry about – is fine, and Daryl is fine.

“Obviously, the two goalies being out means Jak (Alnwick) will play.

“Moussa and Tayls are suspended, but everybody else looks pretty good.”
