The agent of Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha has told Sportsbyte it is unlikely the frontman will leave Selhurst Park today, writes Daniel Prince.
Zaha had been linked with Newcastle and Bolton, among a host of other Premier League clubs, but it appears he is set to stay with Dougie Freedman’s side.
“There is a chance he could leave today and Newcastle is one of the clubs he could possibly go to,” said Lionel Morgan, who represents the 19-year-old.
“He has been linked with others as well but it is unlikely he will leave Crystal Palace in this transfer window.
“He is happy at Palace, he loves the manager and the club, and he has just signed a new contract.
“The club are under no pressure to sell and do not want to sell him.”
Zaha was a key member of the Palace side which reached the Carling Cup semi-finals this season, but any transfers will be put on hold until the summer at least.
