HENDON ended title challengers Aquatic Sports’ 100 per cent league record.

Man of the match Adam Wasey, Leighton Cooney, Adam Cushingham and Steven Clark came up trumps for Hendon in a 4-2 victory, with Shaun Fisk and star man Ryan Morse on target for the visitors.

Hall Farm capitalised on Aquatic’s setback to move clear at the top of the table with a sixth win out of seven.

They ran out impressive 6-4 victors in a hard-fought clash away to Oddies, with man of the match Dean Smith stealing the show with a four-goal salvo, backed by Damon Ellis’s brace.

University of Sunderland stormed home for a second league victory, 4-1 at Park View, for whom sub Sam Robinson fired a consolation, with Kieran Peverley star man.

Whitburn Village proved just too strong for hosts Cheers, securing a thrilling 5-3 away success, rising to fourth place in the process.

Adam Campbell (2) and Anthony Rathbone netted for Cheers, but Stephen Brook’s double proved decisive as the visitors ran out good winners.

Dale Wells, man of the match Gary Brook and Anthony Chambers also notched for the Villagers. Gavin Ackroyd starred for Cheers.
