WOLFSBURG winger Askan Dejagah is believed to be having a medical at Fulham ahead of a potential move to the club.
Dejagah, 26, played for Germany at all levels up to under-21, but due to a change in FIFA rules last year, was able to switch allegiances to Iran, scoring twice on his senior international debut against Qatar in February.
The winger made 26 Bundesliga appearances for Wolfsburg last season, scoring 3 goals, but now looks very close to a move to Craven Cottage, for a fee believed to be in the region of £1.9million.
Earlier today Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath said: “I have asked Ashkan about this (move to Fulham) and he said he would be keen to make the move. I have to say I am not happy about him leaving us but we had to consider the whole situation.”
