UP to £400million has been splashed in the transfer window, and here’s our breakdown of the biggest deals to date:

Eden Hazard

Lille to Chelsea

Chelsea broke the bank to land midfielder Eden Hazard, who was wanted by Manchester United and City. But the Belgian star looks to be worth every penny so far for the Blues – he scored 21 goals in 48 games for Lille and helped them to League Cup success in the 2010-11 season.

Luka Modric

Tottenham to Real Madrid

Tottenham will miss Luka Modric, but received a hefty £33 million fee for their loss. Modric appeared over 150 times for the London club and scored 17 goals. The move was a much-anticipated and was drawn out for much od the summer. “I’ve come here to improve every day and to win titles with Real Madrid.These are my personal goals,” Modric said to Sky Sports.

Oscar is one of Brazil’s brightest prospects. He played for his country in the London 2012 Olympic games and helped them win the silver medal. Oscar also scored a hat trick in last year’s Under 20’s World Cup to secure the 3-2 victory against Portugal in the final.

Manchester United paid a substantial fee for 29-year-old Robin van Persie. The Dutch player proved his worth last season – Van Persie netted 30 goals for the Gunners and finished as the top scorer in the Premier League.
