STOKE have enquired about signing Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson, according to Sky Sports
It is yet to seen whether the former Sunderland man will the move to the Potters as the Reds are yet to respond to their offer.
With both Charlie Adam and Andy Carroll already leaving Anfield in the last 24 hours, any possible deal involving Henderson would inflict further losses from Kenny Dalglish’s British recruitment policy of last summer.
It is unclear as yet the fee Pulis would be willing to pay for the England midfielder, but it is sure to be significantly lower than the £20m paid by Liverpool to the Black Cats just over a year ago.
Midfield reinforcements are clearly a priority for Stoke, with deals for Rangers’ Maurice Edu and Blackburn Rovers’ Steven N’Zonzi in progress.
