STOKE City have signed former Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old, who agreed personal terms with the Potters last Saturday, has been granted a work permit, allowing him to complete his move to the Britannia Stadium.
The American international departed Rangers earlier this month due to their financial woes, and is looking forward to playing for Tony Pulis’ side.
He told Sky Sports News: “I’m very excited. I’ve always been a fan of the Premier League and now I have that opportunity, so I’m looking forward to it.”
Edu later Tweeted: “Stoke City, it’s finally official! Excited and looking forward to this next chapter in my career.”
