ASHBROOKE Belford House romped into the final of the Shipowners’ Cup with an impressive 5-1 victory over Prudhoe Town at Kimberley Park.
A Michael Calvert own goal gave Ashbrooke a perfect start and, before the interval, Lee Andrews scored twice to put the Sunderland side in complete control.
Calvert atoned by reducing the deficit on the restart, but the Wearsiders won at a canter with a brace from Stephen Callan.
That ensured a second final for Belford, who are also through to the League Cup final, in which they will meet Redcar Athletic.
In the Shipowners final, they will take on Easington Colliery.
